Florão Tinto is a red wine from the Alentejo region of Portugal, produced by Quinta da Fonte Souto, an estate owned by the Symington family. The 2020 vintage is a blend of several grape varieties, including Aragonez (Tempranillo), Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alfrocheiro, and Alicante Bouschet. This wine exhibits aromas of red cherries intertwined with hints of pine forest and wet earth. On the palate, it is assertive and silky, featuring notes of forest fruits complemented by touches of clove and pepper. Florão Tinto pairs well with spicy dishes and game meats.
