Description Casa Valduga Region : Vale dos Vinhedos DO, Brazil Grape : Chardonnay 80%, Pinot Noir 20% Aged for a minimum of 30 months in cellar with 10% in French Oak barrels, this wine has great complexity & elegance. A balance between notes of almonds & tropical fruits. Fresh & creamy with a fine mousse. The Casa Valduga Sur Lie is a sparkling wine in its most crude form, without dégorgement and consequently, without dosage post-degorgement of expedition liquor. Because it does not go through this thinning, the autolysis of the yeasts occurs while the bottle remains closed. This is the great differential of this wine, it continues aging for an indeterminate time and the decision to interrupt this process is unique and exclusive, which will decide the time of maturation of the drink, to appreciate it according to your preference. To result in high quality labels, the maturation process takes place in the winery’s underground sparkling wine cellar, considered to be the largest in Latin America, with a capacity for more than six million bottles. At the end of the 19th century, in 1875, the first immigrants of the Famiglia Valduga landed in Brazil. Coming from the city of Rovereto, in northern Italy, they cultivated the first vineyards in the heart of what is now Vale dos Vinhedos, thus beginning the legacy of one of the most renowned names in Brazilian vitiviniculture. 70cl 12.2% abv Learn more about Casa Valduga here.
