Guidance Cards that like to play; Playing Cards that like to guide. Spuds of Destiny are a deck of Oracle Cards – cards traditionally used for affirmation and mystic readings – but better. There are 41 cards, each with a different message inspired by a potato. What sets Spuds of Destiny apart from other Oracle Cards is that each card carries a numeric value and is part of one of four groups – which means they’re also playing cards. ‘Zero’ is the name of Spuds’ signature game. It’s a simple but addictive game. Each player (up to 4) is dealt 3 cards. The aim of the game is to have a hand that equates to Zero (0) by picking up and discarding one card at each go. Other games that can be played are ‘The Forgotten Potato’ and ‘Spud Rummy’. The flexibility of the cards means that the possibility of new games is only limited by your imagination. Spuds of Destiny was inspired by the global events of 2020. There was a sense of confusion and uncertainty which saw a spike in mysticism and the occult. There just weren’t enough potato-based cards on the market. Now there are. And they can be yours. It’s written in the Spuds.
