Description The Plantation Grenache, Pikes Region : Clare Valley, South Austalia, Australia Grape : Grenache A warm, dry growing season, followed by 60mm in January and one of the coolest Febuary’s on record resulted in small crop levels and a high concentration of flavour. Gentle cap management using compressed air has been used to protect the aromatic qualities of the wine. Immediately appealing aromas with a vibrant display of ripe red fruits. Raspberry and red cherry dominate with hints of pink peppercorn, rose petal, and chocolate mint. The palate shows raspberry & cherry cola notes with a balanced finish with a streak of acidity to compliment the slightly dusty tannins.
