Description Aromas of ‘oak-aged character’ with hints of orange zest, Fermented with oak chips to provide the aroma and dry mouthfeel of an English Stout. Cottage Beer Project’s Stout is of course black, and the northern part of Devon in which it is brewed has many thousands of pheasants, particularly between mid-September and February. A black pheasant, while not actually being black, gives off sheens of dark blue and greens, and is quite unique – which is the aim for their Stout. Bottle Conditioned 500ml 4.3% abv
