This wine is made from vines planted in the Western block, which comprising of 4000 vines and is only produced in better quality years as its attributes rely on varietal character from its constituent parts. The red varieties (Pinots Meunier and Noir) are pressed and co-fermented in stainless steel before being blended with the Chardonnay after alcoholic fermentation is complete. It was then racked and steel aged for a further six months, before being racked once more and bottled.
